Our work is deeply rooted in our Christian faith and our desire to share God’s love in practical, life-changing ways. As one of Trafford's designated 'community hubs' we work closely with the council and local partners to provide grass roots support and direct access to vital services for local residents. The Role
For this brand new role, we are seeking a warm, approachable, and highly organised individual to join our frontline team. As the first point of contact for individuals seeking support, you will be sympathetic to our Christian values of grace, compassion, and hospitality, providing a safe, respectful environment.

You will be responsible for triaging incoming requests, assessing immediate needs, and administering our Crisis and Resilience Fund to help those experiencing financial hardship. Additionally, you will signpost individuals toward the appropriate internal programmes and external local services to ensure they receive holistic, long-term care.

You will be based at The Hub Community Centre, Altrincham, providing a positive, friendly service, face to face, by email or over the phone. You will be responsible for the support phoneline and email inbox, logging requests and directing residents to local support services.  Your role will be responsible for administering the Crisis and Resilience Fund, enabling residents to gain essential support. You will also support some of the community facing services that we run and support organising of food stock and donations.

With experience of working in a public facing role, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, IT skills, be able to use your own initiative and have an excellent eye for detail.
If this sounds like you, we’d love you to join our team!
