Ash
Hi I’m Ash, I have the privilege of leading and serving the Church which is one of the great joys in my life. When I’m not at ABC or The Hub you’ll probably find me with a book in my hand, out on my bike, getting stuck into a bit of DIY or exploring something creative or arty.
I love live music, good food (tiramisu tops the list!), and dream of long summer days in Italy—cycling in the early morning, reading in a hammock, enjoying the heat, and sharing meals with red wine as cicadas buzz in the background.
A couple of fun facts: I’ve kicked a rugby ball through the posts at Twickenham, and once, in the middle of my Biology O-level exam, a friend cheekily stole one of my shoes! If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to finally finish The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
My go-to karaoke song is Lizzo’s Good As Hell, my crayon colour would definitely be purple (no explanation needed), and the best advice I’ve ever received is simple but powerful: Never go back.
Above all, my favourite part of working here is the amazing staff team I get to share the journey with.
