Safeguarding

At The Hub community centre Safeguarding underpins all of the activities run by our paid and volunteer staff.

This includes ensuring all people who have regular contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults are appropriately vetted and trained according to government and other relevant organisational guidelines. This includes the requirement of DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) checks to be undertaken, as part of our safer recruitment safeguarding policy. The Hub has two named lead people, responsible for Safeguarding and their contact details are publicly displayed throughout the building.

Further information can be obtained from the named safeguarding co-ordinators.
